Jeremy L. Jenkins

Jeremy L Jenkins is a director at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research in Cambridge, MA and global head of Developmental & Molecular Pathways Research Informatics (DRI). He is responsible for the DRI teams comprised of Computational Biology, Computational Engineering, and Screening Informatics. He has published in the fields of lead discovery, cheminformatics, scaffold hopping, computational target prediction, chemogenomics, chemical biology, knowledge engineering, and network pharmacology. Jeremy was the 2011 Corwin Hansch Award winner for contributions to the field of Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationships. He was a Novartis postdoc (2003-2005), following postdoctoral research at the Harvard Medical School (2000-2003), where he trained in HTS, biochemistry, virtual screening, and computer-aided drug design. He received his PhD in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University.
