Han Dai

Han Dai is currently a GSK fellow and scientific leader at GSK and a GSK visiting professor at High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Han is also the president elect (2018-2019) of the Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association - Greater Philadelphia and a full faculty member of F1000 Drug Discovery & Design Section. At GSK, Han started with responsibilities in protein chemistry, enzymology, biophysics & structural biology and expanded quickly into drug discovery and preclinical development program management, contributing to multiple clinical candidates. Trained originally as a biophysicist and structural biologist, Han is interested in the integration of chemistry and biology in drug discovery and development. Before joining GSK, Han completed a BS in the Department for Intensive Instructions at Nanjing University, a PhD in Molecular Biophysics at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas as a Frank and Sara McKnight fellow, and postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School as a Helen Hay Whitney fellow.
