Daniel Merk

Daniel Merk is Professor of Pharmaceutical & Medicinal Chemistry at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. His research focuses on ligand-activated transcription factors (nuclear receptors) as drug targets, in particular, Professor Merk is interested in the development and characterization of nuclear receptor ligands, their molecular mechanisms and their pharmacology. His group also uses Artificial Intelligence for molecular design.
