Daniel Conole

Daniel obtained a BSc (Hons) and a PhD (Deans List) in medicinal chemistry under the guidance of Dame Dist. Prof. Margaret Brimble at the University of Auckland. Following this Daniel worked as a research fellow at the Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre (ACSRC), followed by a series of post-doctoral positions in the UK (Prof. Angela Russell, University of Oxford, Prof. David Selwood, University College London, and Prof. Ed Tate, Imperial College London. In 2022, Daniel returned to ACSRC as a senior research fellow to establish novel high-throughput screening techniques, including DNA encoded libraries. Daniel has a broad range of medicinal chemistry experience target areas such as antimicrobials, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, cardiovascular disease and haematological cancers.
