Clifford D. Jones

Clifford Jones is currently head of chemistry at Redx Immunology with broad medicinal chemistry and drug discovery experience, ranging from early-stage hit-finding strategies and hit identification, lead generation and lead optimisation, through to the delivery of clinical candidates. Prior to joining Redx Immunology, he held a variety of roles within AstraZeneca, both in the UK and France, and led teams working against a broad range of oncology targets, particularly in the cell signalling, cell cycle and DDR (DNA damage response) areas. These efforts results in the delivery of multiple candidate drugs into early development. Cliff has published over 37 patents and papers, has given a range of presentations and posters at high-profile external conferences, and presents a medicinal chemistry lecture series at Manchester University.
